Vasily Petrenko conducts the OCNE at the Auditorio Nacional de Música in Madrid

Vasily Petrenko is in Spain these days to conduct the 12th symphonic concert of the 22/23 season of the Orquesta y Coro Nacionales de España (OCNE).
On this occasion, the OCNE and maestro Vasily Petrenko offer us a conversation with the history of music through three works: Lontano by György Ligeti, Absolute Jest by John Adams and Also sprach Zarathustra by Richard Strauss, the programa thus following two of the thematic lines of the Orchestra's season, “Ligeti 100 years” and “Visions of America”
The concerts will also feature the Quiroga Quartet in the Adams' work, and will take place on February 17th, 18th and 19th at the Auditorio Nacional de Música in Madrid.
