Teatro de la Zarzuela presented yesterday its 2022-2023 season, which will feature 163 performances, 4 world premieres and 7 new productions.
It is a pleasure for us to announce that, once again, our artists will be present at their season.
At the begining of the season, baritone César San Martín will sing in the first staged title, playing the role of Captain Peñaranda in Barbieri's "Pan y Toros".
Shortly after, in December, Manuel Coves will be in the pit conducting the Orquesta de la Comunidad de Madrid in a show by the Spanish National Ballet entitled "El loco" and inspired by the dancer Félix Fernández 'El loco'.
In 2023, Ainhoa Arteta and Ramón Vargas will offer a recital, together with the pianist Rubén Fernández Aguirre, which will take place on February 6.
In April, Alberto Miguélez Rouco will lead the ensemble Los Elementos and will conduct the baroque zarzuela "La violación de Lucrecia" by José de Nebra.
And finally, Nancy Fabiola Herrera and Ainhoa Arteta will take part in the world premiere of "Trato de favor", a contemporary zarzuela with music by Lucas Vidal and libretto by Boris Izaguirre.
From GoDirect we want to congratulate all the artists, the Teatro de la Zarzuela and its director Daniel Bianco for this beautiful season.
