Rafael Sánchez-Araña conducts the opening concert at the Internationales Gitarrenfestival Tübingen

Maestro Rafael Sánchez-Araña conducts the Residenz Orchester Baden-Württemberg at the opening concert of the Internationales Gitarrenfestival Tübingen. The Festival will feature 7 concerts with various ensembles and soloists. In addition, this year it expands its borders by celebrating its seventh edition in a collaboration with the Canary Islands.
As a soloist, the concert will feature the award-winning guitarist Luis Alejandro García, winner of numerous international prizes.
The concert, entitled Amistad, will feature works by Joaquín Rodrigo, Joaquín Turina and Antón García Abril, and will take place in the Jakobuskirche on 10 November.
