Born in Mexico City, he concluded his musical studies at the Escuela Nacional de Música and then continued his operatic studies at the Sociedad Internacional de Valores de Arte Mexicano (SIVAM), Opera Studio Beckmann and the Estudio de Ópera de Bellas Artes.
Some of the operatic programs he has performed include Oberlin in Italy (Arezzo, 2014), Georg Solti Accademia (Castiglione della Pescaia, 2015), Solti Peretti Repetieur's masterclasses (Venice, 2016) and the International Vocal Arts Institute IVAI/ Metropolitan Opera of NY (New York, 2016).
He has performed on the most important stages in his country and made his operatic debut singing the role of Marcello in the opera La bohème by Giacomo Puccini alongside the renowned Mexican tenor Ramón Vargas and the Spanish soprano Ainhoa Arteta with the National Opera Company of Fine arts.
He has been a member of the Center de Perfectionament del Palau de les Arts during the 2019-2020 and 2020-2021 seasons, working since then with the renowned Argentine tenor Raúl Giménez.
He has been winner of the first prize in the VII Sinaloa International Singing Competition and the First Singing Competition of the State of Mexico, as well as a finalist and winner in the XXV Carlo Morelli Singing Competition.
Some of the masterclasses he has received include figures such as: Plácido Domingo, Leo Nucci, Barbara Frittoli, Sir Richard Bonynge, Silvana Bartoli, Joan Dornemann, David Gowland and John Fisher, among others.
His repertoire includes the main baritones of operas such as Le nozze di Figaro, Così fan tutte, Don Giovanni, L'elisir d'amore, La bohème (Puccini and Leoncavallo), Gianni Schicchi, Pagliacci, Carmen and Faust, among others.
Recent performances and upcoming engagements include Il barbiere di Siviglia (Bartolo) at the Oviedo Opera; La traviata and Carmen at the Calderón Theater in Valladolid; Carmen at the Villamarta Theater; Trouble in Tahiti at the Tenerife Opera, Il barbiere di Siviglia (Figaro) in Zaragoza; Les Mamelles de Tirésias, Il Viaggio a Reims and Il tutore burlato at the Palau de Les Arts. In the zarzuela repertoire he will sing in Don Gil de Alcalá at the Oviedo International Lyric Theater Festival.
