Omar Lara participates in the opera Carmen at the Teatro Calderón in Valladolid

The baritone Omar Lara plays the character of Morales in the opera Carmen in the three performances (May 10, 12 and 14) that will take place at the Teatro Calderón in Valladolid.
The staging is by Jean-Louis Grinda and is a production of the Opéra de Monte-Carlo in co-production with the Opéra de Marseille and the Theatre du Capitole de Toulouse. The musical direction has been entrusted to the Valencian maestro Sergio Alapont.
Omar Lara will share the stage, among other soloists, with mezzo-soprano Nino Surguladze (Carmen), tenor Jean-François Borrás (Don Josè), soprano Jacquelina Livieri (Micaela) and baritone Tommaso Barea (Escamillo).
