Born in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Néstor Galván begins his cello and singing studies at the Conservatorio Superior de Música de Tenerife, where he graduated in June 2015 with the highest qualifications.
He has perfected his vocal technique with singers such as Montserrat Caballé, Celso Albelo, Francesca Roig, Piero Visconti or Isabel Rey, with whom he performed a master class at the Teatro de la Zarzuela in Madrid in 2017 and from whom he also received lessons for the Gala Lírica held at the Auditorio Jameos del Agua, in Lanzarote, under the direction of Pancho Corujo.
During his academic training, he has also been in contact with artists such as Raquel Lojendio, Ana María Sánchez, Isabel Penagos, Yolanda Auyanet and Manuel Cid. He is currently working on his vocal technique with Maestro Juan Lomba.
He has worked with maestros such as Giampaolo Bisanti, Evelino Pidò, Paolo Arrivabeni, Christopher Franklin, Vincent Monteil and Aldo Sisillo, among others.
In the operatic repertoire, since his debut in 2013 as Normanno in the production of Lucia di Lammermoor at the Teatro Guimerá in Tenerife, he has performed roles such as Parpignol in La Bohème (2014) and Brühlmann in Werther (2016) alongside tenor Celso Albelo, both titles at the Auditorio Adán Martin, or the Duke of Mantua, in Rigoletto, in the show Malizia by Carmen Mota, at the Pirámides de Arona, during the 2015-2016 season. He has also performed Il Lamento de Federico in a Lyric Gala with Celso Albelo at the Teatro Leal in San Cristóbal de La Laguna. In 2016, he manages to be among the finalists of the Centro de Perfeccionamiento del Palau de Les Arts in Valencia. His participation in the Ópera en Familia project allows him to face in 2017 the challenge of performing three soloist roles in the same title, giving life to the characters of Spalanzani, Pitichinaccio and Crespel in the opera Les contes d'Hoffmann at the Auditorio de Tenerife. In 2018, he performs the role of Arturo in Lucia di Lammermoor at the Auditorio de Tenerife, where he also sings the role of Prince of Persia in Turandot in the 18/19 season of Ópera de Tenerife.
In zarzuela, he has sung titles such as La del Manojo de Rosas, portraying Ricardo in 2015, and in Las de Caín, in the role of Marín, in 2017, at the Teatro Guimerá.
In 2020, he is selected for the Opera Studio of the Opéra National du Rhin in the 2020/21 season in Strasbourg. At the Strasbourg Opera he plays the witch in Hansel and Gretel, Lenz from the operetta Friederike and the role of Pierre in Madame Chrysantheme, among others.
In 2021, he won the Grand Prix de la Voix de Nice competition, and as a prize he gave a recital at the Bolshoi Theater in Moscow.
Among his latest engagements are the role of El Remendado in Carmen, at the Teatro Monumental in Madrid, with the Orquesta Sinfónica y Coro de RTVE, in the season finale "Ecos de la Belle Époque"; also the role of Malcolm in Macbeth at the Marseille Opera and a season presentation concert at the Nice Opera.
