Néstor Galván and Gabriel Alonso take part in the double Zarzuela program at the Campoamor

Tenor Néstor Galván and baritone Gabriel Alonso participate in the next zarzuela production, which is part of the XXXI edition of the Festival de Teatro Lírico Español, to be held at the Teatro Campoamor in Oviedo. On this occasion, the titles La Gran Vía, by Chueca and Valverde, and Adiós a la Bohemia, by Sorozábal, will be performed.
While Néstor Galván will participate in La Gran Vía as Rata primero and El sietemesino, Gabriel Alonso will perform the role of Rata segundo in La Gran Vía, and Mozo in Adiós a la Bohemia. Vanessa Goikoetxea performs the roles of La Menegilda and Trini, and Borja Quiza, the Caballero de Gracia and Ramón, respectively. Among other artists, the cast is completed by Carlos Mesa, who will be Paseante en Corte and Señor de la Capa, while Milagros Martín will assume the roles of Doña Virtudes, Elíseo and La Gomosa.
Maestro Víctor Pablo Pérez will conduct the Oviedo Filarmonía orchestra, as well as the Coro de la Capilla Polifónica Ciudad de Oviedo, and Ignacio García will be in charge of the stage direction. As for the production of the double bill, La Gran Vía is a new production of the Teatro Campoamor - Fundación Municipal de Cultura del Ayuntamiento de Oviedo, and Adiós a la Bohemia is by Donostia Musika.
Performances will take place on February 22 and 24 at the Teatro Campoamor.
