Maribel Ortega stars in Turandot with the Fundació Òpera Catalunya

Soprano Maribel Ortega heads the cast of the Fundació Òpera Catalunya's upcoming production of Turandot. On this occasion she will alternate the title role with soprano Eugènia Montenegro, as will Antoni Literes and Nacho Guzmán in the role of Calaf. The cast is completed by Ivana Ledesma and Tina Gorina, who will take on the role of Liù, while Jeroboám Tejera will perform Timur. Jordi Casanova will be The Emperor, and Carles Daza, Jorge Juan Morata and Marc Sala will perform the enigmatic Ping, Pang and Pong respectively.
The Orquestra Simfònica del Vallès and the Cor Amics de l'Òpera de Sabadell will be conducted by Daniel Gil de Tejada, in a production by the Fundació Òpera a Catalunya, directed by Carles Ortiz.
Performances by Maribel Ortega will take place on 17, 19, 21, 27 and 28 April, 1, 3, 5, 10 and 11 May.
