Luiz-Ottavio Faria sings Der Fliegende Holländer at the Theatro Municipal de São Paulo

Bass Luiz-Ottavio Faria returns to the stage of the Theatro Municipal de São Paulo to perform the role of Daland in Richard Wagner's Der Fliegende Holländer (O navio fantasma).
In the cast, Hernán Iturralde and Rodrigo Esteves as the Dutchman, also Carla Filipcic and Eiko Senda will sing the role of Senta, while in the role of Erik will be Kristian Benedikt and Ewandro Stenzowski. The cast is completed by Giovanni Tristacci as the Helmsman and Regina Elena Mesquita in the role of Mary.
Maestro Roberto Minczuk will conduct the Orquesta Sinfônica Municipal and the Coro Lírico Municipal, in a production directed by Pablo Maritano.
Performances, seven in all, will be from November 17 to 25 at the Theatro Municipal de São Paulo.
