Born in Seville, she earned her degree in Spanish Dance at the Conservatorio de Danza de Sevilla before beginning her vocal studies in 2010 at the Conservatorio Profesional de Sevilla “Cristóbal de Morales” with Esperanza Melguizo.
She has been awarded First Prize and the Audience Prize at the Certamen de Nuevas Voces Ciudad de Sevilla, Third Prize at the International “Flaviano Labò” Competition in Piacenza, the Audience Prize at the Montserrat Caballé Competition, First Prize at the 3rd edition of the Santa Cruz de Tenerife International Opera Competition, First Prize at the “Ciudad de Logroño” International Singing Competition, and Third Prize along with the Audience Prize at the 6th Alfredo Kraus International Singing Competition.
She has also received Second Prize at the Tenor Viñas International Singing Competition, the Plácido Domingo Award for Best Spanish Singer, the Teatro de La Zarzuela Award for Best Zarzuela Singer, the Special Prize from Teatro Real Madrid, the Audience Prize, the Ópera de Sabadell Prize, the Concerlírica Prize, the 2019 Ópera Actual Award, and the 2020 Ópera XXI Award for Best Newcomer.
Since her debut in 2014 as Servilia in La clemenza di Tito in Valladolid, she has performed La Cenerentola (Clorinda), La Bohème (Musetta), Il viaggio a Reims, and Rigoletto at the Auditorio de Tenerife; Oscar in Un ballo in maschera in Las Palmas; La Grande-Duchesse de Gérolstein (Iza) at Teatro de La Zarzuela; The Little Sweep (Rowan), Lucia di Lammermoor (title role), and I Capuleti e i Montecchi at Teatro de la Maestranza; Orfeo ed Euridice at Teatro Villamarta in Jerez; and Vendado es amor, no es ciego (Anquises) in La Coruña. Notable recent successes include Lucia di Lammermoor with ABAO; Marina (title role), a gala alongside Carlos Álvarez, Luisa Fernanda (Duchess Carolina), and Los Gavilanes at Teatro de la Zarzuela; a gala for the Viñas Competition, Strauss’s Capriccio, and Siegfried (Waldvogel) at Teatro Real; and Il viaggio a Reims (Contessa di Folleville) and Don Giovanni (Zerlina) at the Gran Teatre del Liceu.
Her international debut came in Italy in 2016 as Fiorilla in Il turco in Italia, performed at the Teatro Municipale in Piacenza, Teatro Dante Alighieri in Ravenna, and Teatro Comunale Luciano Pavarotti in Modena. Since then, she has sung Francesca da Rimini (Francesca) by Mercadante, Giulietta e Romeo (Giulietta) by Vaccaj, and a gala at the Festival della Valle d’Itria; Falstaff (Nanetta) and Rigoletto (Gilda) at Teatro Carlo Felice in Genoa; Le nozze di Teti e di Peleo at the Rossini Festival in Wildbad; Francesca da Rimini at Teatro Giglio Showa in Kawasaki; and Doña Francisquita at Opéra de Lausanne.
In concert and oratorio repertoire, she has sung Handel’s Solomon, Haydn’s Missa Brevis, Vivaldi’s Gloria, and Carmina Burana at Teatro de la Maestranza.
Among her recent engagements are The 7 Deaths of Maria Callas at the Liceu, Rigoletto in Vilnius, a semi-staged Falstaff in Vigo, Rossini’s Otello at the Belcanto Opera Festival in Japan, Les pêcheurs de perles with INBAL in Mexico City, Le nozze di Figaro at Teatro Cervantes in Málaga, the Concerto di San Silvestro in Piacenza, Die Entführung aus dem Serail at ABAO, Die Fledermaus in concert with the RTVE Orchestra, and Medea at the Mérida Classical Theatre Festival, in addition to concerts with the Las Palmas Symphony, among others.
Her engagements for the 2024/25 season include Le nozze di Figaro and Roméo et Juliette at the Shanghai Opera, Lucia di Lammermoor at Teatro Principal in Zaragoza, a concert with the Orchestra Nazionale della RAI performing Mahler’s Symphony No. 4, a Christmas concert with the Córdoba Orchestra, a New Year’s concert with the Royal Seville Symphony Orchestra, Doña Francisquita at the Teatro Lírico de Oviedo, a concert with the RTVE Orchestra, Die Zauberflöte in Piacenza, and La tabernera del puerto at Teatro de la Zarzuela, along with a Zarzuela gala in the Canary Islands and Carmen in concert with ORCAM.
This season she sings Die Entführung aus dem Serail at the Teatro Regio di Torino, Werther at the Liceu, La Tabernera del Puerto at the Teatro Mayor Julio Mario Santo Domingo in Bogotá, Il califfo di Bagdad at the Seville Opera Festival, and performs in concerts with the Hofer Symphoniker, the Royal Symphony Orchestra of Seville, the Las Palmas Symphony Orchestra, and the Orchestra Sinfonica Siciliana.
