Leonor Bonilla and Wojtek Gierlach in ABAO's The Abduction from the Seraglio

Leonor Bonilla and Wojtek Gierlach participate in the next production of W. A. Mozart's Die entführung aus dem serail (The Abduction from the Seraglio), which returns to the Bilbao Opera after 29 years of absence.
The soprano, who is part of the opera's starring quartet, will perform the role of Blonde, while Wojtek, who is making his debut at Bilbao's Euskalduna, will play the role of Osmin.
The cast is completed by artists such as Jessica Prat, who will perform Konstanze, Moisés Marín, who will be Belmonte, Mikeldi Atxalandabaso as Pedrillo and Wolfgang Vater in the role of Selim Bassa.
Also making her debut at the helm of the Euskadiko Orkestra is the musical director Lucía Marín. The production, by Mariano Bauduin, who also debuts in the house, is produced by the ABAO itself and is inspired by the spaces and atmospheres of the Ottoman Empire.
The performances can be enjoyed on January 20, 23, 26 and 29 at the Palacio Euskalduna in Bilbao.
