Julio García Vico conducts the Real Orquesta Sinfónica de Sevilla in a program titled Cuentos orientales

Maestro García Vico makes his debut with the ROSS in two concerts that are part of the symphonic subscription season of the Sevillian Orchestra, which will take place at the Teatro de la Maestranza on October 18th and 19th.
Both concerts will feature the soloist Cristina Gómez Godoy, who will perform Richard Strauss' Concerto for oboe and orchestra in D major. In addition to this piece, Modest Mussorgsky's A Night on Bald Mountain and Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov's Scheherezade will complete the program.
Winner of the prestigious LSO Donatella Flick conducting competition in its 16th edition, and awarded First Prize in the 2019 German Conducting Competition, Maestro García Vico's recent and upcoming engagements include orchestras such as the ONE, OBC, ORTVE, OSPA, La Società dei Concerti, the Orchestra da Camera di Mantova, the Sinfónica de Navarra, the Sinfónica de Tenerife, the Orquesta de Córdoba and the Sinfónica de la Región de Murcia.
