Jorge Franco in Dido, Königin von Carthage at the Concertgebouw

Tenor Jorge Franco participates in the upcoming production of Dido, Königin von Carthage, by composer Christoph Graupner, which will take place at the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam.
On this occasion, Jorge Franco will assume the roles of Achates and Disalces. Alongside him, soprano Robin Johannsen will perform the title role of Dido, while Alicia Amo will be Anna. Emiliano González Toro will give life to Aeneas, while Andreas Wolf will assume the roles of Hiarbas and Elgabal. Spanish baritone José Antonio López will be Juba, and finally soprano Chelsea Zurflüh will perform Menalippe.
Conductor Andrea Marcon will lead the baroque ensemble La Cetra Barockorchester & Vokalensemble.
Performances are scheduled for February 24 and 27 at the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam.
