Gregory Kunde will sing the opera Fidelio at the Opéra de Nice

Gregory Kunde will sing the role of Florestan, under the musical direction of Marko Letonja, at the Opéra de Nice on January 20, 22, 24 and 26. The stage direction is by Cyril Teste and the main roles include Angélique Boudeville (Leonora) and Albert Dohmen (Rocco).

This is Kunde's debut in the Beethoven's only opera, which originally should have happened in May 2020 at the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino and, due to pandemic reasons, that production of Fidelio was cancelled.
