Génesis Moreno, at the 10th Anniversary Gala of the Estudio de la Ópera de Bellas Artes

The Estudio de la Ópera de Bellas Artes celebrates its tenth anniversary with the gala Opereando con el EOBA. It will feature the participation of Mexican tenor Ramón Vargas, founder of the Estudio, as well as a selection of members of both the current and previous editions, including soprano Génesis Moreno.
During the Gala, arias from repertoire operas such as La Bohème, La Traviata and L'italiana in Algeri will be performed with the accompaniment of the Orchestra and Chorus of the Teatro de Bellas Artes, conducted by Iván López Reynoso.
The EOBA is currently directed by mezzo-soprano Gabriela Flores, who has highlighted the recent recognition obtained by Génesis Moreno at the Alfredo Kraus Competition in the Canary Islands.
The Gala will take place next Sunday, February 18 at the Main Hall of the Palace of Fine Arts in Mexico City.
