Génesis Moreno and Karina Demurova star in Roméo et Juliette at Teatre Principal in Palma

Soprano Génesis Moreno and mezzo Karina Demurova will star in the upcoming production of Charles Gounod's Roméo et Juliette at Teatre Principal Demurova. Génesis Moreno will take on the leading role, Juliette, while Karina Demurova will perform the role of Gertrude.
Maestro Franck Villard will be in charge of conducting the Orquestra Simfònica Illes Balears and the Cor del Teatre Principal, in a production by the Opéra-Comique de Paris, this time by Éric Ruf. The staging features exquisite costumes by the designer Christian Lacroix.
Performances will take place on the 22nd, 24th and 26th of May, coinciding with the closing of the 38th Opera Season of Palma's Teatre Principal.
