Born in Ferrol (Spain) in 1991, he is graduated at the Escuela Superior de Música Reina Sofía (BMus and PGMus) where he has been trained under the tutelage of Ryland Davies and Francisco Araiza. He has received master classes in acting and repertoire with some of the best singers, conductors and stage directors, such as Ruggero Raimondi, Leigh Melrose, Teresa Berganza, Juliane Banse, Sarah Connolly, Stephan Degout, Andrés Orozco-Estrada, Alberto Zedda, or Justin Way.
He has been awarded with several prizes such as the first prize at the “Amigos de la ópera de Santiago de Compostela” Competition in 2014, the 3rd Prize at the “Ciudad de Logroño” International Singing Competition in 2019, the 3rd Prize at the Albacete National Competition in 2021 and the prize for his performance in Pagliacci at the Capri Opera Festival.
He began his professional career in 2015 at the Teatro Victoria Eugenia, Opera Season in San Sebastián, with Il Barbiere di Siviglia. In the following seasons, he has been part of productions at the Teatro Cervantes in Málaga, Amigos de la Ópera de A Coruña, Amigos de la Ópera de Vigo, or Teatro Real, among others.
His symphonic repertoire includes Fauré’s Requiem, Beethoven’s 9th Symphony or Saint-Saens’ Christmas Oratorio. He has sung with the Galicia Royal Philharmonic Orchestra under the baton of Maximino Zumalave, where he performed the absolute premiere of the work Dúas Cantigas, by Xabier de Paz, the JORCAM (Young Orchestra Community of Madrid), Galicia Symphony Orchestra, among others.
He has sung at the Teatro Real (Madrid), Auditorio Nacional de Música (Madrid), Teatro Colón (A Coruña), Palacio de la Ópera (A Coruña), Teatro Victoria Eugenia (San Sebastián), Sony Auditory (Madrid), Palacio de Festivales (Santander), Teatro Cervantes (Málaga), among others.
He has also been in charge of several absolute premieres of composers such as Borja Mariño, Miquel Ortega or Juan Durán (Reina Sofía Prize for Musical Composition 2018).
His recent performances and next engagements include Bizet’s Carmen (Escamillo), Lehar’s Die lustige Witwe (Graf Danilo) and Guerrero’s La rosa del azafrán (Juan Pedro) at Teatro Cafam (Bogotá) and Gounod’s Romeo et Juliette (Conde Paris) at Teatro Colon (A Coruña).
