César San Martín takes part in the Beethoven 9th organised by the Fundación Juan March

Baritone César San Martín will take part in the next concert organised by the Fundación Juan March with Beethoven's Symphony No. 9. The concert, part of the series Cuatro obras maestras de la historia de la música, will feature soprano Raquel Lojendio and mezzo-soprano Sandra Ferrández, as well as tenor David Alegret.
The work will be performed in a piano reduction and will feature the intervention of musicologist Irene de Juan, as well as the Coro de la Comunidad de Madrid. They will be conducted by maestro Josep Vila.
The series Cuatro obras maestras de la historia de la música (Four masterpieces in the history of music) consists of four lecture-concerts in which some of the most outstanding features of the masterpieces of Händel, Bach, Beethoven and Mozart will be analysed. Each lecture will show the key features of the main work, combining explanatory moments with musical fragments.
The concert will take place on Thursday 18 April in the auditorium of the Fundación Juan March in Madrid.
