On January 28th, at the Opéra Nice Côte d'Azur, the American tenor takes the baton and leads the Orchestra Philharmonique de Nice to conduct a very special concert in which, as the name of the concert itself indicates, the singer has a "carte blanche" to create the program he wishes to conduct. Thus, the tenor, in this case in his position as musical director, proposes a journey through the music he loves, whether it be the great American repertoire of the 20th century, with works by Copland, Bernstein and Barber; or great successes of the Italian operatic repertoire, such as the overture to Guillaume Tell by Rossini, the overture to La forza del destino or the Intermezzo from Cavalleria rusticana.
