Anita Hartig stars in Don Giovanni in Toronto

Soprano Anita Hartig will lead the cast of the Canadian Opera Company's upcoming production in Toronto. She will perform the role of Donna Elvira, sharing the stage with Gordon Bintner as Don Giovanni and Mané Galoyan as Donna Anna. Likewise, bass-baritone Paolo Bordogna will perform Leporello, while tenor Ben Bliss will be Don Ottavio. The cast is completed by Simone McIntosh as Zerlina and Joel Allison as Masetto, along with David Leigh in the role of Il Commendatore.
Music director Johannes Debus will conduct the Canadian Opera Company Orchestra. The production will be directed by Kasper Holten and co-produced by the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden, Gran Teatre del Liceu, The Israeli Opera and Houston Grand Opera.
Anita Hartig's performances can be enjoyed on February 2, 4, 7, 9, 15 and 17 at The Four Seasons Centre for the Performing Arts.
