Andrés Sánchez Joglar opens the XXXVIII Opera Season at Teatre Principal in Palma with a double role in Il trittico

Tenor Andrés Sánchez Joglar makes his debut at Teatre Principal in Palma performing the roles of Luigi (Il tabarro) and Rinuccio (Gianni Schicchi) in the production of Puccini's Il trittico.
The title, which will be staged for the first time in the Mallorcan theater in its entirety, has the participation of soloists such as Mario Cassi (Michele / Il tabarro, Gianni Schicchi / Gianni Schicchi), Marga Cloquell (Giorgetta / Il tabarro, Suor Angelica / Suor Angelica), Mariangela Marini (Frugola / Il tabarro, La Zia Principessa / Suor Angelica), Joan Laínez (Tinca / Il tabarro, Gherardo / Gianni Schicchi), Mar Campo (La badessa / Suor Angelica, Zita / Gianni Schicchi) or Greta Lirussi (Lauretta / Gianni Schicchi, Suor Genovieffa / Suor Angelica), among others.
This is a new production of the Teatre Principal de Palma with stage direction by Rafel Duran. It is the premiere of this title in Mallorca in its entirety, as just Suor Angelica had previously been performed in 2011.
The musical director will be Anna Hartmann, who will be conducting the Orquestra Simfònica Illes Balears and the Cor del Teatre Principal.
Performances will take place on November 24 and 26 at the Teatre Principal de Palma.
