Ana Ibarra participates in Dialogues des Carmélites at the Teatro Cervantes

Mezzo-soprano Ana Ibarra participates in the upcoming production of Dialogues de Carmélites, by Francisc Poulenc, at the Teatro Cervantes in Málaga.
Ana Ibarra will perform Madame de Croissy, sharing the stage with Maite Alberola, as Blanche de la Force, Luiza Fatyol, who will be Madame Lidoine, Egle Wyss, who will assume the role of Mother Marie, and Nuria García-Arrés as Sister Constance. Completing the cast, David Alegret will be the Chevalier de la Force, Gerardo Bullón, the Marquis de la Force, and Luis Pacetti, the Chaplain, among others.
The Orquesta Filarmónica de Málaga and the Coro de Ópera de Málaga will be under the musical direction of maestro Pedro Halffter.
The stage production, directed by Francisco López, will be a collaboration between the Teatro Villamarta in Jerez de la Frontera and the Teatro Cervantes in Málaga.
Performances will take place on February 16 and 18 at the Teatro Cervantes in Málaga.
