Alejandro Roy, nominated for the Talía Awards as "Best Male Lyric Performer"

The Spanish Academy of Performing Arts has just announced the nominations for the 2024 edition of the Talía Awards, the highest distinction in the Spanish performing arts, announcing tenor Alejandro Roy as "Best Male Lyric Performer" for his performance as Calaf in the last production of Turandot at the Gran Teatre del Liceu.
Also nominated are Xavier Anduaga, for his Lucia di Lammermoor in Las Palmas, and Jorge de León, for his performance in La Dolores at the Teatro de la Zarzuela.
Marta Hazas and Álvaro Tato announced the rest of the nominations in all areas of the performing arts, including Best Female Lyric Performer and Best Lyric Production.
The awards ceremony will take place at the Teatro Español in Madrid on 22 April and will be broadcast live on RTVE.
