Alejandro Roy and César San Martín in Baluarte's production of Carmen

Tenor Alejandro Roy and baritone César San Martín lead the cast of the Baluarte production of Carmen, performing the roles of Don José and El Dancairo, respectively. They will be accompanied by Ketevan Kemoklidze in the role of Carmen, Berna Perles as Micaela and Simón Orfila in the role of Escamillo. They will also be joined by Andrea Jiménez, in the role of Frasquita, David Lagares, who will play Zúñiga and Igor Peral as El Remendado, among others.
Audrey Saint-Gil will be in charge of conducting the Orquesta Sinfónica de Navarra and the Coro Lírico AGAO. The Escolanía del Orfeón Pamplonés will also participate.
The production, signed by the Monte-Carlo Opera in co-production with the Theatre Capitole in Toulouse and the Marseille Opera, will be directed by Jean-Louis Grinda.
The performances will take place on February 2 and 4 at the Palacio de Congresos y Auditorio de Navarra, Baluarte.
