Ángeles Blancas returns to the Deutsche Oper Berlin

Soprano Ángeles Blancas returns to the Deutsche Oper Berlin to perform the leading role of Lucia in the opera Il teorema di Pasolini, by the composer Giorgio Battistelli. It is a revival of this opera whose world premiere, in which Blancas also participated, was on June 9 of this year.
The opera is based on the famous film and novel Teorema, released in 1968 by Pier Paolo Pasolini. The plot revolves around alienation, spirituality and the search for meaning in the society of his time.
It will also feature David Damiani in the role of Paolo, while Andrei Danilov will perform the role of Pedro. Soprano Meechot Marrero will be Odetta, and Monica Bacelli will perform Emilia. We will also find Nikolay Borchev in the role of Ospite.
Daniel Cohen will be conducting the Orchester der Deutschen Oper Berlin, and the staging will be in charge of the British-Irish theater collective "Dead Center".
Performances will take place on November 16, 23 and 28 at the Deutsche Oper Berlin.
