Wojtek Gierlach takes part in The Black Mask at the Wielki Theatre in Warsaw

Bass Wojtek Gierlach takes part in the production of Krzysztof Penderecki's The Black Mask. On this occasion, he will perform the role of François Tortebat, alongside Natalia Rubis in the role of Benignay and Wojciech Parchiem as Silvanus Schuller.
Maestro Bassem Akiki will conduct the Chorus and Orchestra of the Grand Theatre - National Opera, in a production directed by David Pountney.
The performances will take place on 22, 24, 27 and 29 November at the Wielki Theatre - National Opera in Warsaw.
In addition, he recently participated with great success as a soloist in Krzysztof Penderecki's Credo, a work for 5 soloists and orchestra, which took place on 8 November at the Podlaska Opera in Białystok. On this occasion it was Maestro Mirosław Jacek Błaszczyk who conducted the Podlaska Opera and Philharmonic Orchestra and Chorus.
