Wojtek Gierlach sings Król Roger at the Łódź Opera House

Polish bass Wojtek Gierlach takes on the role of Archiereios in the concert version of Szymanowski's Król Roger, which will take place at the Filharmonia Łódzka im. Artura Rubinsteina (FLC) in Łódź.
The concert celebrates the artistic career of singer Joanna Woś, who is an honorary citizen of Łódź and will play the role of Roksana.
Sharing the stage with Wojtek Gierlach and Joanna Woś will be bass-baritone Andrzej Dobber as Król Roger, tenor Piotr Buszewski as Pasterz and mezzo-soprano Joanna Motulewicz in the role of Dyakonissa.
The musical direction will be in the hands of Paweł Przytocki, leading the Symphony Orchestra and Choir of the Łódzka Philharmonic.
