Ramón Vargas stars in Un ballo in maschera at the Teatro Colón

Tenor Ramón Vargas will lead the cast of the upcoming production of Un ballo in maschera by Giuseppe Verdi at the Teatro Colón in Buenos Aires. In this new production, Vargas will perform Riccardo. He will also be joined by Alessandra di Giorgio as Amelia and Germán Enrique Alcántara as Renato, among other artists.
The musical direction will be in charge of Beatrice Venezi, who leads the Orquesta Estable del Teatro Colón and the Coro Estable del Teatro Colón. Rita Cosentino is in charge of the stage direction and choreography of this production by the theatre itself, which has the collaboration of the Italian Embassy in Buenos Aires and the Istituto Italiano di Cultura, as part of the Divina Italia Finale cycle.
The performances in which Ramón Vargas will participate will take place on November 28, December 1, 3 and 5 at the Teatro Colón.
