Rafael Sánchez-Araña's great success at the Zarzuela Gala

On October 20, Rafael Sánchez-Araña conducted the lyrical gala Al compás de zarzuela, in which we could listen to Leonor Bonilla together with the Orquesta Filarmónica de Gran Canaria and other soloists.
The press has echoed the great work done by the maestro, specifically the Diario La Provincia highlights:
“Sánchez Araña showed mastery, taste and interest in detail (La alegría de la huerta), he made the strings sing in the incomprehensibly abbreviated intermission of La leyenda del beso, the best moment being La boda de Luis Alonso, due to the correct tempi and the planning of the articulations that made all the sections of the orchestra shine.
He accompanied the singers with care and tried to bring the pit music to the stage in the best terms of balance”.
