Rafael Sánchez-Araña conducts La verbena de la Paloma in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria

Conductor Rafael Sánchez-Araña opens the XXXII Temporada de Zarzuela de Canarias conducting Tomás Bretón's La verbena de la Paloma at the Teatro Pérez Galdós in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
The cast will include soprano Ruth Terán, who will perform Susana, and baritone Fernando Campero, who will perform the role of Julián, among others. They will be accompanied by the Orquesta Sinfónica de las Palmas and the Coro de la Sinfónica. It willl be a new production by Amigos Canarios de la Zarzuela, directed by José Luis Gago.
Performances will take place on 21st and 22nd September at the Teatro Pérez Galdós.
