Mercedes Arcuri stars in Aureliano in Palmira at the Opera Rara Festival

The soprano Mercedes Arcuri participates in the next production of Aureliano in Palmira, by Gioachino Rossini, within the Opera Rara Festival in Krakow. She will do so playing the leading role of Zenobia, alongside the Argentine countertenor Franco Fagioli, who will play Arsace. Krzysztof Lachman also participates as Aureliano or Joanna Sojka in the role of Publia, among others.

This is a concert version of the opera, in which maestro Jan Tomasz Adamus will be in charge of conducting the vocal and instrumental group Capella Cracoviensis.

The concert will take place on September 6 at the Łaźnia Nowa Theatre.
