Maribel Ortega stars in Macbeth at the Teatro Villamarta in Jerez

Soprano Maribel Ortega will soon take on the role of Lady Macbeth in the upcoming production of Verdi’s Macbeth, set to be staged at the Teatro Villamarta in Jerez.
She will be joined by Rodrigo Esteves as Macbeth and Santiago Vidal as Macduff, among other talented artists.
The production features musical direction by Carlos Domínguez-Nieto, who will lead the Orquesta Bética de Cámara alongside the Teatro Villamarta Choir. Stage direction is handled by José Luis Castro, who revives a production originally created for the Jerez-based theater.
Performances are scheduled for January 24 and 26 at the Teatro Villamarta in Jerez.
