Maribel Ortega and Alejandro Roy at the Puccini Gala at the Palau de la Música Catalana

Soprano Maribel Ortega and tenor Alejandro Roy will be the stars of the tribute concert to Giacomo Puccini at the Palau de la Música Catalana, in which soprano María Miró will also perform as a soloist.
Together with the Vallès Symphony Orchestra, and under the baton of Julio García Vico, they will perform a selection of arias, duets and orchestral numbers from the most emblematic operas of the Italian composer. The programme will include fragments of Turandot, Tosca, La Bohème, Madama Butterfly and La Rondine.
The concert will take place on November 28 at the Palau de la Música Catalana.
In addition, Maribel Ortega repeats her Puccini homage by participating in the commemorative recital of the centenary of the death of Giacomo Puccini organized by the Amigos de la Ópera de Girona.
The recital will feature a programme specially designed to celebrate Puccini's centenary, including the most representative arias and duets from his repertoire. In addition to Maribel, Antoni Lliteres will be present, and both will be accompanied by the pianist Josep Buforn.
