Manuel Coves conducts Albeniz's Suite Española with the Ballet Español de la Comunidad de Madrid at the Teatros del Canal

Maestro Manuel Coves conducts the official presentation of a new Spanish dance company, the Ballet Español de la Comunidad de Madrid, whose premiere will be on October 12. The show combines music by Albéniz and the premiere of Epifanía de lo flamenco, by Jesús Carmona.
The Suite Española, op. 47 by Isaac Albéniz will be choreographed in its original order for the first time, and will be interpreted, under the baton of Coves, in the orchestration of Óscar Esplá. Epifanía de lo Flamenco, with music by Juan Requena, traces the history of flamenco from the palos forged between Spain and America to the Caracoles, the most representative flamenco palo of Madrid.
The performances will take place from October 12 to 27, from Wednesday to Sunday, at the Sala Roja of the Teatros del Canal.
