Leonor Bonilla stars in Le nozze di Figaro at the Shanghai Opera

Sevillian soprano Leonor Bonilla plays the role of Susanna in the semi-staged version of Le nozze di Figaro that will take place this week at the Shanghai Opera.

This marks the inauguration of a season, the 24/25 of the Shanghai Opera, which will feature artists such as Valery Gergiev with the Mariinsky Orchestra, and Andris Nelsons and the Vienna Philharmonic, and in which Leonor leads the cast of this masterpiece of Mozart and which was voted in 2017 as the Best Opera of all time by BBC Music magazine.
The concert, in its semi-staged version, which features the Shanghai Opera Orchestra and Choir, will take place on September 14 at the Shanghai Oriental Arts Centre.
