Juan Noval-Moro triumphs in Oviedo with Doña Francisquita and pays tribute to Bizet in his bicentenary in Logroño

Specialized media have also praised Juan Noval-Moro’s excellent portrayal of Cardona in the Doña Francisquita production of the Teatro Lírico Español Festival.
Scherzo states: "Asturian tenor Juan Noval-Moro excelled as Cardona, particularly standing out in the ‘Marabú Bolero.’"
Platea Magazine highlights his vocal intensity: "Juan Noval-Moro delivered a strong and commanding Cardona, with a vocal intensity that, at times, made his voice sound more powerful than that of his friend, Fernando."
Ópera Actual writes: "Juan Noval-Moro portrayed a natural and unpretentious Cardona, particularly shining in the joyful Canto alegre de la juventud, as well as opening the work as the lañador."
Meanwhile, Ópera World notes: "His performance was met with an equally strong response from Asturian Juan Noval-Moro, whose Cardona starts off the zarzuela and gains presence and vocal excellence with each act."

On another note, this Friday, the Círculo Logroñés will host Passion Française, a recital paying tribute to composer Georges Bizet on the bicentenary of his birth, featuring tenor Juan Noval-Moro.
The program will take audiences on a journey through the rich tradition of French music, including works by Bizet as well as pieces by other French composers such as Gounod and Massenet.
The recital is part of the V Festival Lírico Lucrecia Arana, a key cultural event in La Rioja, which this year honors two great figures in music: Cristóbal Oudrid and Georges Bizet.
Joining the Asturian tenor on stage will be mezzo-soprano Anna Gomà and pianist Rinaldo Zhok.
The recital will take place at Círculo Logroñés on Friday, March 7, at 8:00 p.m.
