Guillermo García Calvo makes his debut at The Dallas Opera opening the 26-27 season

Conductor Guillermo García Calvo will make his debut next October at The Dallas Opera as conductor of L’Elisir d’Amore by Gaetano Donizetti, the title that will open the company’s 26–27 season.
In the maestro’s own words: “I am beyond excited to be making my debut at The Dallas Opera — and what better way to arrive than with a love potion? L’Elisir d’Amore is the perfect excuse to fall head over heels, both onstage and with the incredible city of Dallas. I can’t wait to share the laughter, the music, and the magic with you all.”
This debut marks a new international milestone in the conductor’s career, as he takes the podium to lead the company’s orchestra and chorus in one of the most emblematic bel canto titles of the repertoire.
