Genesis Moreno participates in Carmen at the Bicentennial Theater of Guanajuato

Soprano Génesis Moreno will sing the role of Micaela in the new production of Georges Bizet's Carmen, presented by the Guanajuato Ministry of Culture to commemorate the 15th anniversary of the Roberto Plasencia Saldaña Bicentennial Theater. The cast also includes Guadalupe Paz in the title role of Carmen, Arturo Chacón Cruz as Don José for the performances on November 26 and 27, and Andrés Carrillo in the same role for the performance on November 29.
The musical direction will be in the hands of Maestro Enrique Patrón de Rueda, a leading figure in Mexican opera, while the stage direction will be handled by Mauricio García Lozano. The creative team also includes set design by Jorge Ballina. The Bicentennial Theater Orchestra and Choir will perform, along with the Children's Choir of Valle de Señora.
