Fabián Veloz in the double bill Cavalleria Rusticana / Pagliacci at the Teatro Comunale di Modena

Argentine baritone Fabián Veloz participates in the most famous verismo opera double bill, Pietro Mascagni's Cavalleria Rusticana and Ruggero Leoncavallo's Pagliacci, as part of the season program at the Teatro Comunale di Modena.
Fabián Veloz will perform the role of Alfio in Mascagni's work, while he will be Tonio in Leoncavallo's tragedy of the clown. Alongside him, artists such as Teresa Romano (Santuzza in Cavalleria Rusticana), Angelo Villari (Turiddu in Cavalleria Rusticana and Canio in Pagliacci), and Daniela Schillaci (Nedda in Pagliacci), among others, will be on stage.
The conducting will be led by Aldo Sisillo, at the helm of the Orchestra dell'Emilia-Romagna Arturo Toscanini and the Coro Lirico di Modena, with the musical direction by Plamen Kartaloff. It is a co-production of the Fondazione Teatro Comunale di Modena, Fondazione Teatri di Piacenza, and Teatro Galli di Rimini, also featuring a new set design in co-production with the Sofia Opera House.
