Following the two performances of La Regenta in Oviedo, as part of the Spanish Lyric Theatre Season, critics have praised Cristian Díaz’s outstanding portrayal of Víctor Quintanar.
Ópera Actual highlights his vocal excellence: "Excellent Cristian Díaz, with a consistently powerful sound and well-tuned lower notes, in the role of Víctor Quintanar."
Similarly, Codalario emphasizes: "Cristian Díaz, as the Regenta’s husband, demonstrated a secure and refined voice."
