Conductor David F. Caravaca joins GoDirect Artists Management

The Spanish conductor David F. Caravaca (Córdoba, 1995) joins the roster of GoDirect Artists Management, confirming his position as one of the most promising figures of the new generation of Spanish conductors with growing international projection.
A recent prize-winner of the MDR Leipzig Symphony Orchestra Conducting Competition and of the first edition of the Juventudes Musicales de España Orchestral Conducting Competition, Caravaca has developed a steadily rising career distinguished by expressive clarity and a firm command of the symphonic and operatic repertoire.
He served for two seasons as Assistant Conductor of the Castilla y León Symphony Orchestra (OSCyL) and collaborates regularly with OSCyL Joven. As a guest conductor he has worked with ensembles including the Spanish Radio and Television Symphony Orchestra (RTVE Symphony Orchestra), the Real Orquesta Sinfónica de Sevilla, the Bergische Symphoniker, the Jenaer Philharmonie, and the Orquesta de Córdoba, among others.
In the operatic field, he conducted the revival of Richard Ayres’ Peter Pan at the Staatstheater Mainz. He has also collaborated as assistant conductor with the Joven Orquesta Nacional de España under Vasily Petrenko, and with the Concertgebouw Young Orchestra conducted by Elim Chan.
Highlights of the 2025–2026 season include his debuts with the Elbland Philharmonie Sachsen, the Orquesta Sinfónica de Tenerife, and the Hofer Symphoniker, as well as return engagements with the Orquesta Sinfónica de Navarra and the Südwestdeutsche Kammerorchester Pforzheim.
Since 2022 he has been a fellow of the prestigious Forum Dirigieren programme of the German Music Council, and he currently serves as Chief Conductor of the Orquesta Joven de Córdoba. He trained at the Hochschule für Musik “Franz Liszt” Weimar and at the Escuela Superior de Música Reina Sofía in Madrid.
His addition to the roster reinforces the agency’s commitment to emerging talent with strong international training and an increasing presence on the European concert scene.
