César San Martín and Pancho Corujo at the Tribute to Barbieri at the Royal Carlos III Coliseum in El Escorial

Coinciding with the bicentennial of the birth of Francisco Asenjo Barbieri, the baritone César San Martín, together with the tenor Pancho Corujo, will participate in the concert titled Barbieri 200 years: two picaresque farce. The soprano Ruth Terán and the mezzo-soprano Lola Casariego complete the cast.
The program consists of the titles The Man is Weak and The Child, both by the Madrid composer, with librettos by Mariano Pina. San Martín will play the roles of Pascual and Barón, while Corujo will do the same with Luciano and Félix.
The sainetes will be performed in a semi-staged version for sextet and piano, with the production of the Concerto XXI Nvivo company.
The concert will take place on June 29 at the Real Coliseo Carlos III in El Escorial.
