Baritone César San Martín and tenor Jorge Franco take part in the upcoming production of Turandot at the Teatro de la Maestranza. San Martín will take on the role of the Mandarin, while Franco will perform Pong.
Maestro Gianluca Marcianò will conduct the Real Orquesta Sinfónica de Sevilla and the Coro del Teatro de la Maestranza, as well as the Escolanía de Los Palacios. The production, from the Teatro de la Maestranza and premiered at the Teatro La Fenice in Venice in 1987, will be directed by Emilio López.
The performances will take place on 7, 10, 12, 13, 14 and 16 November at the Teatro de la Maestranza.
