The production of Don Gil de Alcalá, by Penella, premieres at the Campoamor Theater in Oviedo. The tenor Alejandro Roy will play the character that gives its name to the opera, while Andrés Sánchez Joglar will play the Master of Ceremonies, the bass Cristian Díaz will play the role of the masterful Father, and Omar Lara will be the Governor.
On this occasion, the Oviedo Filarmonía will be directed by maestro Lucas Macías, in a production by Emilio Sagi with scenery by Daniel Bianco.
The performances will take place on June 20 and 21 at the Campoamor Theater, thus saying goodbye to the XXXI edition of the Oviedo Spanish Lyric Theater Festival.
