Ángeles Blancas and Ana Ibarra in the trilogy Il Trittico at ABAO Bilbao Opera

Soprano Ángeles Blancas and mezzo Ana Ibarra will take part in the new production of Giacomo Puccini's Il Trittico at the ABAO Bilbao Opera. Blancas will perform the role of Giorgetta in Il Tabarro, while Ibarra will be Frugola in the same title, as well as La Badessa in Suor Angelica and Zita in Gianni Schicchi. Also present in the production will be Marifé Nogales, who will perform the role of La suora infirmiera in Suor Angelica.
The Orquesta Sinfónica de Navarra, conducted by Pedro Halffter, will be accompanied by the Coro de Ópera de Bilbao conducted by Boris Dujin. Stage direction will be by Paco Azorín in a production of ABAO Bilbao Opera.
The performances will take place on November 23rd, 26th and 29th, and December 2nd at the Palacio Euskalduna in Bilbao.
