Huge success for Alfonso Romero Mora in his production of I due Figaro at the Allee Theater in Hamburg

After the premiere, last October 6th, of Alfonso Romero Mora's production of I due Figaro at the Hamburg Kammeroper, the media have echoed the excellent work of the stage director, who already achieved great recognition last season with his production of Faust on this same stage.
Thus, in Orpheus Magazine one can read: "Alfonso Romero Mora's direction impresses both for his excellent character management and for his surprising ideas and humor" while Die Deutsche Bühne says that "Alfonso Romero Mora hit the nail on the head. Mora has already demonstrated his surprising wit, excellent character management and sparkling humor in many brilliant productions at the Hamburger Kammeroper and in his new "Figaro" one can also feel his desire to work on the details. Mora also borrows his scenic aesthetics inspired by comics, silent films and slapstick and uses them to evoke big operas in small theaters.".
Other media, such as the Hamburger Abendblatt, describe his work as follows: "Director Alfonso Romero Mora carefully studied the score and designed the numerous ensembles with great wit, interpretative energy and sensitivity" or: "The Spanish director Alfonso Romero Mora, a regular guest at the Chamber Opera, also directed the action in this production in a masterfully detailed manner and with refreshing humor", as Ioco said.
The Hamburger Morgenpost also says: "Stage director Alfonso Romero Mora, who directed the German premiere with wit, comedy and irony, discovers contemporary echoes in the old story of the quest for power and an influential position".
I due Figaro is still running until December 9.
